Michele Willems
Planning corporate travel requires a high level of dedication and the ability to be extremely detail oriented. Many of my corporate CEOs and C-suite clients bypass their admins to call me directly because I know without their telling me what their priorities are. Plus, I’m available almost 24/7 so they know they I am here to make whatever they need happen for them.
I work hard to anticipate and head off any delays or potential problems and to take their often fast-changing plans in stride. I’ve gotten calls when an executive is in mid-air saying they need to change their plans or want to be sure their connection hasn’t been canceled due to weather delays. And I’ve gotten calls that a meeting is running late and they may miss their flight so I can line up alternative. To me, that fast pace is part of what I love about my work.
Many of my clients are true road warriors. Often they are on the road four to five days a week so I do what I can to make their lives easier and more pleasant, whether it’s having their favorite snack or drink waiting in their room, or reserving their preferred model of car.
Attention to detail is also the hallmark of planning corporate incentive trips. I handle everything from selecting the venue and negotiating the best rates to making sure everyone gets there on time and that all the sleeping, meeting, dining and activity arrangements are in place. Since these trips are for the top producers or customers, it’s essential that everything be seamless and they are treated like VIPs from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a hands-on, experienced corporate travel agent who will make all your travelers feel like VIPs while ensuring they adhere to policy, we should talk!
