I've always had a penchant for cruising, with a particular soft spot for luxury vessels. While I cherish the moments sailing with my family on Celebrity Cruises and creating memories with my grandkids on Royal Caribbean, my heart truly belongs to Seabourn Cruises. I've been a loyal patron since its inception in 1990, and there's no place that feels more like home on the open seas.
What sets Seabourn apart for my husband and me is the familiarity and comfort we feel every time we step onboard. The staterooms are spacious and elegant, offering a consistent luxury experience unless we opt for one of their lavish suites. An undeniable highlight for us is the inclusive alcohol offering – there's nothing quite like sipping champagne whenever the mood strikes, or indulging in champagne and caviar at any corner of the ship.
The impeccable crew-to-passenger ratio ensures a personalized service that is simply unmatched. Dining onboard is an experience in itself. The Thomas Keller restaurant remains our favorite culinary spot, offering unparalleled gastronomy. Their innovative outdoor venue, which transforms from a casual daytime setting to a European-style alfresco dining experience by night, is a revelation. It feels as if you're dining in a charming European bistro, enveloped by the vastness of the sea.
Seabourn's meticulously curated excursions have also been a highlight of our voyages. From the well-organized cycling trips I took last June to self-curated excursions inspired by the impeccable Seabourn standards, every adventure ashore was memorable.
For anyone seeking insights about Seabourn, I've become somewhat of an encyclopedia over the years. From the warmth of its community to the excellence of its offerings, Seabourn remains my top choice for cruising in luxury.
