As a travel agent, I’ve had the chance to travel all over the world and creating a range of unforgettable memories along the way. I also use my personal experiences, as well as the resources and clout at Bear & Bear Travel, to help guide me as I create one-of-a-kind itineraries for my clients, whether they want VIP ultra-luxury travel or a luxury family vacation.  

The trip I’ve taken that stands out the most in my mind was during my year in college studying in Wales. My friend and I drove—in a rusted-out Volkswagen Golf—from Wales in the United Kingdom all the way to Rome, Italy, and back. To say that this was the ultimate road trip would be an understatement—this is the trip that whetted my appetite for more and more travel! 

Then, after I graduated, I took another road trip with my family starting in Rome and ending in Paris. I was able to spend time in Florence, Cinque Terre, Rome, Provence and then ended up enjoying a week in the French capital. It was such an incredible experience for us, and I absolutely loved every minute. Driving in Europe is always interesting because you can see the countryside change as you travel, and because the countries are small in comparison to the United States, it gives you the freedom to stop and experience the local culture in small doses on your journey.

Even today, when people ask, “What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled,” I can’t answer! There is so much to be gained from traveling to any destination, and I always welcome the opportunity to learn something new, and I know that my clients feel the same.
