I first became passionate about travel at a very young age. I grew up in a little town in central Italy and had the opportunity to visit Rome as a child. I became fascinated with the idea of flying to far-off destinations all over the world. Travel has called to me—sometimes even subliminally—ever since.

One of my most memorable travel experiences was my vacation to Portugal last year. I had the opportunity to travel to the coast and explore the region to familiarize myself with it. That way, I’d be an expert when it comes time to arrange Portuguese travel for my clients. It was an absolutely amazing experience. There were numerous volcanic islands that were so beautiful and each unique in their own way. I can’t wait to return and see what the rest of the coast has in store for me.

However, some of my favorite trips—to book and to take—are to my home country of Italy. Getting to share my heritage and insider recommendations with my clientele is one of the most fulfilling things about being a travel agent for me. Plus, I love hearing my clients’ stories about their travel when they come back after a successful trip.
