River cruising in Europe offers a unique and immersive way to explore the continent’s rich history, diverse cultures, and stunning landscapes. River cruise ships are essentially floating boutique hotels, designed to provide comfort and intimacy for passengers. Most ships accommodate between 100-200 guests, creating a very personalized atmosphere.

River cruises typically visit multiple destinations and countries and dock in the heart of cities and towns. This allows for easy exploration of each port of call and access to destinations that may otherwise be difficult to access. River cruise lines provide daily included walking tours, biking tours, and optional themed or experiential excursions.
