Rachel Dorsey
Growing up in a small town, I knew from a young age that I wanted to explore the world. I was the 10-year-old who put absolutely everything into her "Passport to the World" 4-H project about Italy. After studying abroad in England and a short stint as a geography teacher, I spent four months backpacking through Asia and the Pacific Rim before moving to Japan to teach English, followed by designing study abroad programs.
My meandering path eventually led me to a position in luxury travel and my organization, resourcefulness, and travel-focused self finally found the right home. I enjoy working with travelers over and over again, getting to know their preferences and poring over options to find the right fit for their adventure. My forte lies in navigating the intricacies of complex itineraries with numerous moving parts, and there's an element of magic when the pieces fall into place.
I married a gentleman with a strong Swedish family history and so we are often plotting more trips to Scandinavia. Otherwise, you'll find me trying to keep up with a very active young son and dreaming of future baking challenges - mostly inspired by the Great British Baking Show.
