Travel has always been a big part of my life. As a child in Germany, I traveled with my family throughout Europe, creating many incredible memories. After I moved to the United States, I lived in Georgia, Alaska, and Maryland, before eventually finding my forever home in Tennessee.

My career in travel started in 1996, when a former client offered me a position in his travel agency.  Since travel has always been a part of my life, it was a natural transition for me to join this industry.  To see my clients happy, is the most rewarding thing in the world for me. It’s essential to get to know my clients and pay attention to the “hidden clues” of what they like and don’t like. It’s often the smallest details that produce the fondest memories. Since every client’s travel style is different. It’s important to me to understand what each one is looking for and not to push my personal travel preferences onto them. The success of their trip is my highest priority.

Most rewarding trips I booked for clients

·  A lifelong dream of a client was to see the hospital she was born in over 50 years ago when their plane from Europe to the US had to make an emergency landing in Iceland because her mother went into labor and ultimately gave birth to her daughter in Iceland.  After extensive research, I even found a nurse that worked at the hospital the day that she was born and I arranged for her to meet that nurse.

·  Another client has a daughter that was prepping for a career in the fashion industry and her desire was to spend an afternoon in one of the Paris fashion houses during Paris fashion week.  Initially, we were turned down by every fashion house I contacted, but through some of my personal contacts in Paris I was able to arrange a meeting in a major fashion house and a personal meet and greet with a major designer.  Something she will never forget!

My personal travel highlights (and I plan on adding more to this list!)

· Ziplining in Costa Rica

· Halibut and Salmon fishing in Alaska and viewing the Northern Lights

· Photographing grizzly bears at Chilko Lake in British Colombia, Canada

· Meeting elephants Jabu and Morula during my African Safari with Abercrombie & Kent in the Okavango Delta in Botswana.  It was life-changing, learning about how the Living with Elephants Foundation helps African Nationals learn the importance of respect and understanding between themselves and the elephants.

· Flying over thundering Victoria Falls in Zambia & Zimbabwe in a private helicopter

· Exploring the Cinque Terre villages in Italy

· Cruising the Amsterdam canals on a historic 100-year-old saloon boat

· Snorkeling at Molokini Island in Maui and swimming with the green sea turtles along the Maui shoreline

· Exploring everything Athens has to offer, including the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Temple of Zeus, Roman Agora, Plaka, Syntagma Square, and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier 

· Cruising the Greek Islands and Croatia

· Chocolate Museum in Cologne, Germany

·  A private dinner event at Casa Batllo in Barcelona Spain, with a surprise visit from “Antoni Gaudi”
