I have always enjoyed the challenge of piecing together an independent trip to Europe. I like comparing and choosing the ideal flights, as well as booking all aspects of ground transportation including transfers, car rentals, rail or even ferries. Consider me a hotel collector, which means I seek out and enjoy good hotels, ones that are indicative of the destination. When I travel, I am “collecting” hotels for my clients’ future trips, ensuring that the hotel that I book for them, matches their needs. In my over 30 years in travel, I have established relationships with hoteliers, tour guides, and DMCs (destination management companies), so I use those relationships to help me design a trip just for YOU! Landscapes, History and Culinary Delights!
This was our first trip to Europe and what a trip it was thanks in large part to Barbara. Barbara helped us plan down to the the littlest detail, planes - trains - automobiles and cruise ship. Nothing seemed out of her reach and the recommendations she made were all fantastic! We will be returning again and without a doubt Barbara will be a part of planning process.

Made a last-minute dream trip come true!
When my daughter and I were suddenly inspired to go visit cousins in two different locales in England, we turned to Barbara, and she made the whole experience as easy and straightforward as possible. Her expertise in setting up the actual travel gave us great confidence that we were making the right choices. And when we asked for a charming, centrally located London hotel, Barbara provided a half a dozen appealing options, including some attractive discounts. Our trip was SO special!
We had a wonderful trip, tailored to our interests. Barbara listened well in planning our itinerary. When issues arose and it looked like we were going to be stuck on a small island due to weather problems, Barbara and her team were already making contingency plans by the time our plane landed! So reassuring! It really was the best vacation we have had in years. Barbara was also helpful and patient with our post-COVID, out-of-practice questions like "What travel plug converter do I need?" Just wonderful.
