Travel is a great way to bring families together and create a lifetime of shared memories. I enjoy planning family trips, whether it's parents traveling with children or grandchildren, or both. I get to know different members of the family in the planning stage and make sure there is something for everyone. 

I  planned a large celebration for a client's family of 26 people at a picturesque castle in Scotland. The castle was built in 1770 with all the grandeur you would expect but all the modern conveniences as well. We planned quite a few large formal and informal banquet meals. Days were filled with outings including private Scotch tastings, trips to Edinburgh to see the Royal Edinburgh Military TATOO and city touring, tee times for golf, skeet shooting, hiking and exploring the beautiful Scottish countryside. The family was overjoyed and reported many great family memories created on this trip.

Another family group of 25 - ranging in ages from 5 to 75 - were looking for ideas for a vacation. After discussing the options, we chose the Galapagos Islands. The family spent 5 days at sea on a wonderful ship and 3 days at an eco lodge in Ecuador. One fun experience we arranged was a pen pal program for the kids in the family. They wrote to Ecuadorian children before they left and were able to meet them during the land portion of the trip. They loved it! Galapagos is an amazing trip and should be on everyone’s bucket list.
