I have traveled all my life and it is my passion. As a child I accompanied my parents around the US to visit family or for my father's geological field work. This gave me alternate experiences from my suburban housing development life such as living in a small town or living in the South, as well as familiarity with history, geography and culture. As a teenager our family spent 6 weeks driving around Europe and later my father took a job overseas in Indonesia, so my experiences of the world broadened further. Even later, I took a year off college and traveled around the world, adding Africa and India to my range of experiences and world view. When my husband also took a job overseas, it felt natural to go along with our two young children and really have that ex-pat life in Bangkok for two years. I studied Thai language and Gemology. Upon our return, in 1984, our children were school age and I began my career in travel, learning more about the world and the intricacies of travel with each booking and continuing to travel and grow my in person experience. I have been privileged to work alongside some very accomplished travel advisors and learn from them and I have been privileged to work with high end and passionate world travelers. I bring to each booking my lifetime of travel and years of solutions to travel challenges in terms of itineraries, documentation and etiquette. It has been my joy to figure out how to arrange for any particular need or desire to be delivered anywhere on the planet for my beloved travelers.
