Another great way to reduce stress on the road is to work ahead as much as possible before a trip—communicate with clients, make phone calls, knock out any major proposals--so you won’t have to deal with tight deadlines or emergencies while on the road. And of course, be organized and set aside some time every day to relax and take in the culture. While it’s important to meet your business goals, you’ll probably be more successful and efficient if you maintain a healthy work/life balance.
