Sandra Fredericks
I have been playing golf since I was 12 years old. I used to play with my father at a small course in New Jersey. When I got married, my husband was in the Army and we lived in Georgia. Golf then became a passion and we traveled and played together for 61 years up until a couple of years before he passed away. Golf is a ways to have fun, spend time together, get great exercise, travel the world and meet new people. I continue to play myself and have arranged many fabulous golf vacations—including reserving hard-to-get advanced tee times—for my clients over the years. I have many personal relationships with hoteliers, golf pros and tour operators that make sure my clients are always well taken care of. Here are some of my favorites:
EUROPE...
Many people don't think of France as a golf destination, but there are beautiful courses all over the country. My husband and I played at the Monte Carlo Golf Club, The Royal Royal Mougins Golf & Resort in Cannes, Les Domaines de Saint Endréol Golf & Spa Resort in the heart of Provence and others. What could be more beautiful than golfing, drinking wine and dining in the French countryside?
Of course, Scotland and Ireland have terrific golf courses. Two of my favorites are the Old Head Golf Links in Kinsale in County Cork and Ballybunion Golf Club in County Kerry (where I once played in a hurricane!), Ireland and Turnberry Golf Club in Scotland. I recently arranged a golf trip with a bunch of women to Scotland and we had lots of laughs, especially from within the sand traps!
...AND BEYOND
Other golfing greats where I have played and/or sent clients include: Mid Ocean Club, Bermuda; courses in Honduras (where you can play on the side of a volcano); Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic, Bali, Indonesia; Australia and New Zealand; Egypt and Morocco; Mexico and all over the Caribbean.
