I am your man for all things Italy. This is certainly confirmed when you ask anyone within our industry. Italy is in my blood, I was born in Merano, Italy.

For over 4 decades I have arranged travel for clients to and from Europe, mainly Italy. I have long lasting relationships and close connections to important contacts that help in executing seamless itineraries. Among the Italian community on the Western U.S., I have earned a reputation to provide desirable and competitive airfare, car rental, among other arrangements within Italy.

I started my career in travel in 1970 at Alitalia Airlines in Chicago as a junior agent. I quickly moved up the latter into Sales management with offices in New York, St Louis, and Los Angeles. In 1988, I left Alitalia to open my own travel agency, Merano Tours and Travel, specializing in serving the Italian market. Soon after opening my business, I was approached by the Italian Trade Commission to assist with their U.S. trade missions. I began arranging group trips and incentives for companies interested in creating partnerships with Italian companies and importing Italian goods to the U.S. This experience allowed me to be proficient at booking Group and Corporate Travel, in addition to Leisure. 

When my agency was invited to join Protravel International, the leading luxury and corporate travel agency in the country, we became Protravel Merano Tours and Travel. This partnership provides many additional advantages to my clients, including Virtuoso value-added amenities such as free breakfast and Wi-Fi at many leading hotels, additional clout and buying power around the world.
