Providing the best service to every client comes as second nature to me. After being born and raised in Finland, I came to the U.S. in 1983 and have worked as a travel agent ever since. I love to help my leisure travel clients make their dreams come true just as much as I enjoy helping corporate travel clients reach their destination for a successful business trip or to return safely home.
After attending Travel School of America in Boston, MA, I received my travel agent license. Soon, I was hired by a travel company in Providence, Rhode Island. Beginning at the bottom rung of the corporate ladder allowed me to experience almost every role in the business. I made my way up to corporate travel agent and then was promoted to branch manager in our Warwick office. In short order, I was named vice president and, subsequently, president of the company.
I ran the company until 1997 when I stepped down to spend more time with my family. Working as an independent sales consultant for the company allowed me to be available for my children in their formative years—an experience I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. My previous company was sold in 2005, and I joined another travel company that later merged with Tzell Travel Group.
I’ve been here ever since, providing stellar customer service to the complete satisfaction of every client. I know what it’s like to need urgent assistance at all hours of the night; that is why I am always available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help in an emergency.
