Being a travel agent feels like what I was made for. I love the adventure of traveling and experiencing different cultures and am passionate about helping others discover the world. I speak multiple languages, including Spanish, French, Italian, and English and love arranging trips that allow people to be fully engaged in the experience.
After graduating from college in 1975, I joined the Peace Corps as a volunteer in Benin, West Africa. Following that, I also lived in Paris, France for over a year in a wonderful attic apartment. After a stint with an airline, I landed my first job as a travel agent and have embraced the profession ever since.
I have been quite successful as a travel agent and spend time every year in Nicaragua. I have adopted a godchild that I support and help raise. I am an active supporter of several charities in this area and personally help a lot of underprivileged children. It is my way to fight poverty. I devote a lot of time and help people out of my own funds as a way of giving back.
While I am an experienced corporate travel agent, my main focus these days is adventure travel and luxury travel for leisure clients. I can arrange for immersive trips to South Africa, African Safaris, Morocco, Middle East, Israel, Egypt, India, Asia, and Southeast Asia/Vietnam, Cambodia, South America/Argentina, Central America, and all of Europe.
