DAY 1: U.S. TO TOKYO

Travel from the United States to Tokyo, Japan, a vibrant metropolis known for its towering skyscrapers, cutting-edge technology and rich cultural scene. DAYS 2-5: TOKYO

Stay at The Peninsula Tokyo

After arriving in Tokyo and settling into your luxury accommodations, spend the next three days exploring Japan’s capital. Immerse in Japanese culture by participating in a Taiko drum class, visiting the studio of a renowned Noh mask artist and learning about the art of sumo wrestling. Shoppers rejoice while strolling Omotesando, a zelkova tree-lined avenue with luxury shopping and unique architecture. Before departing, enjoy a meal at THE MOON, located on the 52nd floor of Mori Tower.

DAY 6: TOKYO, SHIZUOKA, HAKONE

DAY 7: HAKONE

Spend the day exploring Hakone’s natural beauty. Experience the Owakudani Station ropeway ride for spectacular views of active, sulfuric hot springs and fields and then take a boat ride across Lake Ashi

DAY 8: HAKONE, NARA, KYOTO

Stay at The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto

Board the bullet train to Nara, known for significant temples and artwork dating to the eighth century. Enjoy group lunch at a local restaurant before taking in Japanese history at Todai-ji, a Buddhist temple complex, and Kasuga-taisha, a Shinto shrine. Continue on to Kyoto and check in to your luxury accommodations.

DAY 9-11: KYOTO

Settle into your final destination, known for its classical Buddhist temples, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses. Popular locations include Ryoan-ji, a Zen temple that’s home to Japan’s most famous rock garden; Sanjusangen-do, a Buddhist temple famous for its 1,001 statues of Kannon (the goddess of mercy); and the Arashiyama bamboo grove. For a deeper natural connection, participate in a private Zen meditation experience at Ryosokuin sub-temple. Before departing for home, enjoy a farewell dinner at Yoshikawa Inn, complete with a stunning geisha presentation.

DAY 12: KYOTO, OSAKA, U.S.

Transfer from your hotel to your Osaka airport and return home..
